I would give the Oceanaire a hundred stars if I could!! Our food was excellent and our server/bartender Tony was out of this world!! That man knows his stuff!! This was my 3rd time at this establishment (my fiance has taken me there for 3 out of my last 4 birthdays, which is today) and I can't wait to go back. The Shrimp and Grits is in the top 5 best things I've ever eaten, the Lobster Bisque is dreamy and the Dynamite Crab with the Scallops was divine. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!!
Very nice. Extremely evident that the staff are highly adept at providing top shelf service. My lovely wife thought it to be the best restaurant meal, ever. The cost was a little over a quarter thousand, but we did order several high end items (along with lobster tails as side dishes). We will certainly be back.
Great seafood and restaurant experience. I had 8 different types of seafood during my dinner there. The only complaint or improvement (which is a personal preference and that's all) is that the scallops could of been seared a little more. Other then that, it's phenomenal.
Great experience, Great service, and Great food that is with the money. In my top 2 places to dine out. FARRAH WAS GREAT ( OUR WAITER). I recommend to everyone to try.
This restaurant is absolutely one of the most pleasant place in the region. Every time I come there I am extremely glad. They always keep their high standard service and the topmost level of food they provide. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Went here for Restaurant Week to try it out for the first time. The food was excellent but pricey if we didn't have the deal. I got the crab cake tester which was very small but scrumptious. Then the blood orange glazed salmon with toasted almonds for my entree. The salmon was amazing but the sauce didn't shine through it all. For dessert I ordered the key lime pie with toasted coconut and it had a strong like flavor which I liked. The atmosphere of the place was dark with a blue tinted. The tables are packed inside and with the chairs you have to be very careful about not bumping into the people next to you. It was also very loud, like a school cafeteria at lunchtime. If you can get one of the clamshell shaped booths along the edge I'd recommend it, especially if you like to people watch. One gentleman close by stared me down for the majority of my dinner which made for an unpleasant experience for me. We went for dinner so maybe lunch isn't as crowded and loud?
This place never fails DELICIOUS food and a beautiful atmosphere we came for restaurant week and loved it we had some of this and that shrimp and grits oysters shrimp pasta crab cakes peach pound yum yum yum we will be back as always. I highly recommended this place.
The food was AMAZING! I had such an incredible night out here. I DO RECOMMEND! If you’re a seafood lover you’ll definitely enjoy. Nice place to take your significant other or any one for that matter.
I love this place!! Definitely recommend to anyone in the Minneapolis area. We went for our anniversary and they were so kind and accommodating, they truly made the night special for us. The food is extremely fresh and their fish is always incredible. Definitely worth the money with the experience you get and the quality of food!
Now that I have had you no one else can compare. I love seafood and have several restaurants in my rotation that do it pretty well, but since dining here I wonder if i can go back to my others. Exquisite dining in a very upscale atmosphere. High end price wise but reflective of an experience you won't get anywhere else
Exquisite experience!I live out of state for college, and was back in town for the weekend to see my man. Oceanaire provided the perfect date night.Our server Chuck provided outstanding service, very knowledgeable with the menu, and perfect amount of attentiveness. Gave us plenty of time to enjoy our courses but we were never left wondering where he was. Great Job.We started with the crab cakes. Crab cakes are our thing, we go to restaurants just to try them, and these are the best we've found in the Twin Cities so far. Decadent and melt in your mouth. They were excellent. Next we had lobster bisque. Normally I'm not a fan of this soup because I find it too sweet and rich, but this one was one I'd order again. Not too sweet and nice lumps of lobster.For the main course my man got the Filet and shrimp. And I got the Live Lobster. Both excellent.Can't wait to come back!
Farrah was absolutely phenomenal! Not only was she very informative and knowledgeable about all of the dishes, she was incredibly friendly and truly a pleasure to meet. Easily the best service we've ever gotten! Will definitely be making the trip to come back again. Phenomenal food. Even better service!
Food was amazing. Prices are between 30-50 apps are about 14-20. Very worth the price. Loved the ambiance and the waitress was very good. Only thing I wish was they maybe asked if it was your first time there and explain the menu or drinks a bit.
